 Information Systems Professional

 ISProfessionals, an IT consulting and management service company is in need of an Information Systems Professional.

The Information Systems Professionals accountabilities are to maintain, update and troubleshoot technology tools including hardware and software. He/She is expected to meet performance standards set by management and to comply with all company policies and procedures. This position reports to the Systems Administrator. The Information Systems Professional is accountable for the following:

• Respond to telephone/email support requests, coordinate user problem resolution with other Information
• Act as a resource for problem identification and resolution for clients at multiple locations
• Tracks and records problems and resolutions in network system logbook
• Utilize advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite to educate users on efficient use
• Performs administrative data entry and/or filing
• Provide network troubleshooting
• Installs/configures hardware and software
• Escalates problem resolution with third-party support centers when necessary
• Maintains asset inventory and location tracking database
• Work closely with the systems administrator to research new hardware and software for network use and
• Provide analysis and proposal preparation for system modifications and enhancements
• Remain abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements and make recommendations when needed
• Establish and troubleshoot network printers and print queues
• Plan and execute specific network software and/or hardware installation projects in a timely manner
• Perform additional duties as directed by Systems Administrator


QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Minimum one year experience in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Ability to pass a thorough back ground check
• Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and management at all levels
• Possess strong organizational, analytical, prioritizing and decision making skills
• Ability to accurately and calmly handle multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
• Above average skills with the computer including using Microsoft Office products, i.e. Word & Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet
• Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere
• Takes pride in ones work and excepts a level of responsibility for his/her professionalism and accuracy
• Project a positive image of the company and herself/himself to clients
• Ability to consistently set goals and meet deadlines
• Self-discipline
• A valid license and clean driving record are required
• Have reliable transportation
• Have an excellent attendance record at prior employment
